IT Support Technican

SUMMARY

Our entry level IT support tech will assist with all aspects of maintenance, hardware, and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.Your goal will be to assist and support our staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set Up and breakdown of workstations

  • Cable Management

  • Trouble Shooting peripheral failures

  • Setting up cell phones and desktop phones

  • Assisting IT Manager where needed

  • Monitor Wiki system and work orders

  • Assist in Troubleshoot issues and outages

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years experience preferred working with Windows platforms

  • High School Degree; Technical Experience; Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems) is a plus

  • Proven experience as an IT Tech or similar role

  • General understanding of networks (LAN, WAN)

  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

  • Excellent communication skills

EXPERIENCE

  • IT Support: 2 years (Preferred)

EDUCATION

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
