Shipping Supervisor
SUMMARY
As Shipping Supervisor, you are responsible for the execution of timely fulfillment of company assets. While you will supervise the shipping team you will also need to be very hands on to keep up with work flow and help refine processes.

Shipping and fulfilment of physical, digital, flash, and mobile inventory

Shipping label creation

Packing & Quality Assurance

Ensuring timely delivery of all products

Ordering shipping supplies

Filing
-
Supporting Special Events & After Hour Supervisor with overflow
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following –
SHIPPING
-
Use internal and external tools to fulfill orders.
-
Assist with the distribution of electronic & mailed tickets.
-
Printing of shipping labels, pulling of tickets from inventory, packaging of tickets and related documents for shipment. .

Filing of necessary order documents

To understand that your roles and responsibilities are subject to change and could increase or decrease depending on what makes sense for the business.

To be accountable for all your departmental responsibilities and team’s actions seven days a week.
-
Willing to work overtime with little or no notice. Be mindful of your team’s requirements and needs before your personal schedule. A 9-5 mentality will not be acceptable in this position.

Facilitate training and mentoring of team (policy & procedures, phone etiquette, etc.)

To handle escalated customer service issues with your team

Handle escalated phone calls from your team

To lead by example- motivate and challenge team

To maintain a positive attitude and encourage a fast-paced work environment

Be a team player. Continue to maintain cross-functionality within the department.

Expect to have crossover into areas outside of the tasks you own.

To be available to your team and colleagues via cellphone for escalated issues that occur during off hours and weekends. Ensure all areas are covered every weekend.
